Amy joined the Westchester Ballet Company Board of Directors in 2018 and became its president in 2019. Her main focus has been on creating digital tools and workflows to support and promote the company's growth and long-term sustainability. Building connections with new audiences, forming partnerships with other Westchester nonprofits, and leveraging the expertise of the ballet company's board members to plan for the future of the Company is at the core of her work.
Amy served on the Board of Directors of the Peekskill Downtown Business Improvement District and was its Vice President from 2013 to 2015. She is also the former Director of Public Relations for the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New York, where she worked on fundraising, events, and developing and implementing workshops in the areas of board governance, security, and U.S./Japan trade relations.
The majority of her career has been spent as a Creative Director and small-business owner of 3&Co., a boutique design studio specializing in books, branding, packaging, typography, copywriting, and digital communications, with clients such as Nonesuch Records, Universal Records, Jessica Seinfeld, Barnes & Noble, Simon & Schuster, Random House, and Penguin Books.
Amy is a graduate of Brown University and the American School in Japan. She is the mother of two grown children, Finn and Ada Hossfeld. She and her husband live in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
