Westchester Ballet Company is hosting a 5-day ballet workshop August 19 - 23, 2024 for young dancers in the community ages 6-10 and 11-18 to help them brush up on ballet skills and learn choreography from WBC’s production of The Nutcracker. Each class will include ballet technique, audition etiquette, and an introduction/review of choreography from The Nutcracker. The workshops will be led by WBC Rehearsal Director Sharyn Korey and members of the company.

No cost to participate.
Dancers Ages 6-10
10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Dancers will receive a ballet class at the start of every day. Following class, choreography from WBC's Nutcracker will be taught by WBC’s Rehearsal Director and current company members.
Dancers should arrive with plenty of water (there are no water fountains on site) and a snack.
Dancers Ages 11-18
1:00 pm - 2:15 pm Ballet Class
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Nutcracker Variations (Dancers with 2+ years of pointe training should wear pointe shoes.)
Registration is closed.
Dancers can attend every day or a selection of days.
