Westchester Ballet Company’s Nutcracker is a big, bold, full-length production of this holiday classic. No regional production in the New York metropolitan area can compare in scale and affordability. Thousands of attendees return year after year, making Westchester Ballet Company’s Nutcracker a cornerstone of the holiday season.
A cast of 110 dancers, 88 of which are youth dancers from 20 towns and villages across Westchester and beyond, rehearse for 3 months each fall to prepare for performances held in the third week of December at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx.
Nutcracker auditions are open to youth dancers, ages 6 to 18 years of age, no matter where they live or receive their training, as long as they meet the ballet training requirements associated with rank in which they are placed in the Company. Click here to learn about auditions.
