linda jamison

Linda is a 26-year veteran educator currently working in Croton-on-Hudson, with expertise in the area of students with special needs. Working with children in this capacity has provided Linda with an in-depth understanding of "multiple intelligences"— the belief that every individual has strengths that must be honored and nurtured. Linda's support of the arts, in general, and her interest in Westchester Ballet Company, in particular, stem from this belief system.

Many of the students with whom Linda has worked have had difficulty learning in a typical school setting but have excelled in sports, music, visual arts, theater, and dance. Linda looks forward to working with Westchester Ballet Company's Community Outreach Committee and on special projects like Got My Wings, which seeks to foster deeper community engagement and awareness of critical social justice issues.

Linda was born and raised in New York and has spent the majority of her life in Westchester. Linda lives in Cortlandt Manor and is the mother of two young daughters—Brysha (19) and Ava (17).
