Tamarah Bridgewater

Tamarah is a visual artist, entrepreneur, and community leader living in Ossining. She recently received special recognition from New York State for her achievements as a leader in the community and for the work accomplished through ENUBuilds, the not-for-profit organization she co-founded in Ossining with Jermain Smith.

Tamarah is also deeply engaged in the Peekskill community, where she works for and partners with Arts10566 as its Program Coordinator, overseeing and facilitating youth enrichment and community engagement events.

Tamarah's support and collaboration with WBC predates her joining the Board (2022). In January 2021, she was instrumental in building the partnerships that led to its June 12, 2021, performance in Peekskill as part of the Feel Good Music Series. Tamarah was also key in helping WBC develop its community outreach with Ossining's Rising Above Boundaries, where the Company now offers free ballet instruction for children K-2 who might not otherwise have access to such enrichment opportunities.

Tamarah weaves together a multitude of talents garnered through her academic work in the Visual Arts, her varied certifications, which include an Art Integration Certification and a Smithsonian Art Institute Certification, as well as work experience in merchandising, business administration, and education. She is an alumna of Ossining High School, a former employee of the Ossining School District, and a parent of two.
